Black Friday College Fund
Scholarship Application
Application for 2025 scholarships opens November 29, 2024 and closes March 30, 2025
The Black Friday College Fund is dedicated to helping students of color and students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds achieve their dreams. The BFCFund believes no student should be deprived of a quality education due to lack of tuition funds or social and mental health services. PLEASE NOTE: Our 2025 scholarship is only open to participants in Thrive Collective Programming.
We offer two scholarship opportunities. Our first scholarship is to four year university students, and it provides an initial award of $2000 and will hold another $1000 in reserve for support services. Our second scholarship is for students that have completed at least one semester at a community college or vocational school. This scholarship provides the $1000 in support services. Support services are defined in our guidance for applicants.
